These are photos from a shoot I did for BBC iWonder with Samira Ahmed at the beautiful Shah Jahan Mosque in Woking. This place has an incredible history. Built in 1889, it is the first purpose-built mosque in the UK. We also shot at the nearby Brookwood Military Cemetery which was also a great location. It was first opened in 1854 and at one time was the largest cemetery in the world. Approximately 250,000 people have been laid to rest within its beautiful grounds, including many foreign soldiers from around the globe who fought side by side with the British. The films were produced by Mosaic Films and can be viewed on the BBC iWonder website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/guides/z373wmn
Here are some pics from a shoot I did earlier this year with Michael Monroe from the Finnish hard rock band Hanoi Rocks which had great success in the 1980s. Michael was an absolute gentleman, and all round lovely guy. The interview with Michael will feature in a documentary about Gun N' Roses being made for BBC Four, directed by Jon Brewer & produced by Cardinal Releasing.
