Anton works as Executive Producer on The Eastern Edge Film Fund which aims to support new filmmakers taking their first steps into independent filmmaking. Jointly coordinated by Arts Development Officers from three London Boroughs; Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham and Havering, the kind of support available ranges from cash grants to office space, training and hands-on one-to-one mentoring.

2008 Eastern Edge Film Fund Film "PL4TE5" was recently screened as part of an exclusive screening event that Bombay Mix staged in partnership with Channel 4, at the Royal Society of Arts.

"PL4TE5" filmmakers Shazia and Sadia Ur-Rehman are on the panel with Oona King (Channel 4's Head of Diversity),and Aysha Rafaele (C4 Commissioning Editor) amongst others.

Eastern Edge film "Knock 'Em Dead" was shortlisted for the Best of Borough Awards and screened at BAFTA

The Best of Boroughs (BOBs) Film Awards
In sumer 2008, Film London launched a new prize for London short film-making in partnership with ITV Local - the capital's broadband television service. ITV Local London handed two prizes of £2,000 to the best films made through a Borough Production Fund, in an award ceremony at BAFTA in July 2008. A panel comprising representatives from the film and TV industry awarded the Jury Prize and a public vote by ITV London Tonight viewers determined the Viewers' Prize. All the shortlisted titles were streamed on the ITV Local London website.
