Eastern Edge Film Fund 2009-2010 As Executive Producer on The Eastern Edge Film Fund, Anton works with the film fund panel to support new filmmakers taking their first steps into independent filmmaking. The Eastern Edge Film Fund aims to support new film-makers taking their first steps into film-making. Up to 4 grants of £1,000 are available for film-makers aged 16 or over, living, working or studying in one of the 3 boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge or Waltham Forest. Successful applicants will also receive training, get access to office space, editing facilities training and hands on one-to-one mentoring from an Executive Producer. News "Still Life" wins 3 Awards!! Now in its fifth
year, the prestigious Vimbam Film festival attracts film makers from
around the world. The festival has been a platform for many independent
film makers to shine and go on to make their mark on the Tamil Film
Industry. This year saw a shortlist of 12 films competing for the seven
memorial awards given to recognise and acknowledge outstanding work
by the best Directors, DOPs, Script Writers and Actors. The line up
included films made in and by film makers from Sri Lanka, India, Canada,
US, Norway, France, Germany and many other European countries. This
year ‘Still Life’ scoped three out of the seven awards and
received a great response from the audience. ‘Still Life’
definitely made its mark with Kuvera and Nelson Sivalingam receiving
the awards for Best Script, Best Film ‘Exile’ and Best Actor
